I had the pleasure of inviting my constituents Chris and Donna to a reception in No10 Downing Street as my Levelling Up Champions, to meet with Michael Gove MP, Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
Chris and Donna run Rowells in Stapleford, a shop that has been in our Town Centre for 126 years!
Recently Rowells was able to benefit from the £1 million Town Centre Recovery Fund, which is one of six projects funded through the £21.1m Stapleford Towns Fund, part of the Government’s £3.6 billion Towns Deal.
I was delighted to be able to bring Chris and Donna to No10 as a small thank you for all they do for Stapleford.
