I met with representatives of East Midlands Airport. I had an excellent view of the Airport and surrounding areas from the Control Tower, feeling very at home being former Royal Air Force. The Airport is an important employer in our region and I found out about many of the job and apprenticeship opportunities they have.
I met with Fiona, she has worked her way up from the bottom and is on course to work in a highly skilled job in the Control Tower. I am very excited to continue dialogue with employers on and around the Airport site and ensure that opportunities are available there for my constituents in Broxtowe.
