This morning, following requests from my constituents, I attended the All Party Parliamentary Group on Cats Meeting regarding pet theft. The group are calling on the Government to extend the new criminal offence for pet abduction in the Kept Animals Bill to include cats as well as dogs.
I was proud to pledge my support for cats to be included in this legislation on behalf of my constituents in Broxtowe.
