Update on Matlock to Nottingham service!
I am delighted that EMR have today announced they will be extending services from Nottingham to Matlock.
EMR will be reintroducing direct trains between Matlock and Nottingham throughout the day and on Saturdays as part of the next timetable change in May 2023.
These reintroduced services will therefore call at Attenborough and Spondon in alternate hours with every train continuing to stop at these stations in peak hours.
Following multiple discussions I have had on this issue, I am thankful that the needs of my constituents in Broxtowe are being taken in to account. This is a step in the right direction but not the end. I will continue these conversations with EMR aiming to fully reinstated the service here in Broxtowe. East Midlands Railway
