Following my Broxtowe Skills Round Table event last week, I met with Andrea Jenkyns, the newly appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Skills, Further and Higher Education who also took the time to join the event.
I stressed the importance of investing in skills and training opportunities such as apprenticeships to ensure that employers here in Broxtowe can benefit from a well trained and upskilled workforce which in turn ensure that the local area makes the most of future job opportunities that are available.
