Yesterday at a meeting of the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Select Committee, I questioned industry experts on planning reform.
I am a big believer in local consultation and decision-making when it comes to planning. By strengthening the process and powers of local plans, I believe we can ensure that communities are given a key role in planning decisions that affect their local area.
