The event, which is being run in collaboration with Beeston and Heanor Job Centres, will take place between 10am and 4pm at the Pearson Centre for Young People, 2 Nuart Road Beeston, Nottingham NG9 2NH.
A full list of businesses attending will be revealed over the course of the next few weeks. A number of apprenticeships are being advertised at the event. These are being offered by national, regional and local businesses catering for a wide range of employment sectors including healthcare, hospitality, retail, beauty and engineering.
Furthermore, there will be numerous employment and skills providers on hand to offer advice and guidance to attendees at the event. As part of this, the National Careers Service will be running a CV Clinic, offering a personalised CV assessment to those in attendance. Anybody wishing to take advantage of this generous offer are invited to bring printed copies of your CV with them to the event where they will be able to receive tailored advice from expert advisers.

“I am thrilled to be holding my first ever Job Fair this September. This event is the first of it’s kind in Broxtowe and will provide local jobseekers with the opportunity to meet with both regional and national employers showcasing a range of job, kickstart and apprenticeship and opportunities on offer.”
“I would like to express my gratitude to Boots UK for kindly agreeing to sponsor this event. Furthermore I am grateful for all the staff at Beeston and Heanor Job Centres for their assistance in planning and facilitating this event.”
“As we recover from the affects of the pandemic, it is vital we do everything we can to encourage a thriving jobs market here in Broxtowe. By working with small businesses as well as larger national enterprises I believe this Job Fair will be the first step to help those who have struggled to find employment during this difficult period whilst also offering the opportunity for others to retrain and reskill in a new field.”
To register for the event, attendees can use the link below. By registering for the event, attendees will be able to receive free transport on select trentbarton and tram routes which both providers have kindly offered during the day.
