Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS)
It is absolutely vital during this pandemic that no one is left behind. All self-employed individuals must have support in place.
During this new lockdown, it is more important than ever that we look again at the SEISS scheme and ensure that no one is left without support.
So, I have written once more to the Chancellor on behalf of those constituents in Broxtowe who have fallen through the gaps with financial support.
Expanding the scheme at this stage may be the only way to ensure that many self-employed people, such as those mentioned in my letter, are protected by this Government so that they may have the opportunity to emerge from the pandemic with businesses still able to survive and grow.
