An important aspect of our local economy is the businesses, that will thrive and result in the creation of more jobs and prosperity for Broxtowe and I was delighted to officially open and welcome a new business in Beeston - Unitel Direct. One of the UK's fastest growing telecom, broadband and internet advertising companies, Unitel Direct has moved into its new offices in The Quadrant in Nuart Road, Beeston, and aims to create up to 70 new jobs in the next six months. But this is not the only business to open in Beeston, as David and James Roberts have a new secondary location of their estate agency, which I also opened. Now we have Brexit done, 2020 is going to be a year of hope, of prosperity and growth as we are seeing in Beeston already, with further development including the new eight-screen cinema, new homes and a range of food and drink outlets. This is good news for our area and sends out a message that Beeston is up and coming, which is quite obviously why both businesses have chosen to open their new offices here.
