Today the Shared Parental Leave and Pay (Bereavement) Bill passed through Parliament and is on to Committee Stage.
I am delighted that after campaigning on this issue for two years we are now seeing the Bill's progression. I was glad to contribute today, raising the case once more of Aaron, a Beeston resident who raised the issue of individuals not being able to qualify for leave in tragic circumstances. I will continue to do all I can until I see this Bill become law.
