Today the Department of Health and Social Care announced £10 million of new funding for organisations working to prevent suicides. I was glad to see that some of that funding is going to Nottinghamshire.
Since first being elected I have been consistent in calling on the Government to increase mental health support and funding. It is vital that support is increased further in order to make sure help is in place for those who need it.
