We are currently in the middle of the 16 Days of Action to end domestic violence against women and girls. This period lasts from White Ribbon Day on 25th November until International Human Rights Day on 10th December.
I am proud to support Broxtowe Women’s Project who as part of the 16 Days are running the White Ribbon Art and Poetry Exhibition through Stapleford. While out and about on Friday, I came across the exhibits at Chayah Development Project as well as the lovely Sheila (mannequin) at Sense. Thank you to Cllr Macrae and Cllr Bofinger for their support of Broxtowe Women’s Project and a special thank you to Colette for all the hard work she puts in for the organisation.
