I spoke in a Westminster Hall Debate on Flooding, the clip can be found above. In Broxtowe we have been affected severely by recent floods, specifically Babet and Henk. Both businesses and homes have been affected.
It is vital we do not just compensate when this damage occurs, but we must invest now in further ways to stop areas in Broxtowe being affected in the future. I will continue to raise this issue within Parliament and I have asked the Flooding Minister to accompany me to Broxtowe so I can show him in person.
