Constituents, such as Margaret, contacted me with their concerns about a lack of banking services in Stapleford; today I got to tell her I have secured a new Banking Hub.
Around the UK right now banks are closing their high street branches. Many months ago this looked to be the case for Stapleford, I was determined to find a banking solution and keep cash and banking services in the heart of Stapleford, as online banking is not right for everyone.
After looking at all the options, we found a possible solution working with Cash Access UK to secure a Banking Hub. It came with strict criteria, that Stapleford fit.
I am delighted that after months of raising the concerns of constituents, Stapleford is finally getting a Banking Hub!
What is a Banking Hub? Well today I am out and about in Stapleford handing out booklets with information on exactly what the Hub will provide! Do say hello if you see me.
