I once again raised the issue of leave for parents who lose their partner in childbirth. In February 2022 I first heard of my constituent Aaron's situation. Aaron had lost his wife Bernadette in childbirth and found that due to the time he had been employed he did not qualify for parental leave and pay. I am determined that the law must change so that no parent finds themselves in the situation Aaron did.
