Last week I held a successful virtual round table to discuss how we can upskill the local workforce in Broxtowe for current and future job opportunities. I was delighted the minister could attend to hear the views of my constituents and organisations first hand.
It is essential we listen to the needs of local employers and ensure that education and skills providers are equipped to provide the necessary training and opportunities to get people into employment.
