Today is Holocaust Memorial Day which serves as a reminder of the evil atrocities committed in the name of a hateful ideology. To mark this day I attended a ceremony at the Holocaust memorial in Bramcote and at 4pm this afternoon I lit a candle as part of the Light the Darkness campaign in memory of all the victims. I had the opportunity to honour those who were murdered and pay tribute to the survivors of the Holocaust by singing the Book of Commitment in Parliament last week.
