Today is Small Business Saturday! A day to celebrate and recognise the amazing work done by small businesses. I recently met with the Minister responsible for Small Businesses, Kevin Hollinrake MP, and told him all about Ey Up Charcuterie a brilliant small business started by Ian Rigley from Awsworth in Broxtowe.
I asked the Minister to lay out some of the ways in which the Government are supporting small businesses, as this is an issue I have raised in Parliament on multiple occasions, most recently regarding energy costs. I am glad the Government laid out support in the Autumn Statement last week and I will continue championing the many incredible small businesses we have in Broxtowe.
